This privacy statement indicates how Cugla BV handles personal data. If you choose to provide us with information voluntarily, we will treat such information with care and secure it in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Personal data is any data that relates to an identified, identifiable or natural person. The natural person to whom the data relates is called the data subject.
Processing means any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data such as collection, recording, storage, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, deletion or destruction.
Why do we process personal data?
We collect your data from the moment you provide it to our organisation. We process personal data only for the purpose for which you left it; some of this data is necessary in order to use our services. You are responsible for the accuracy and relevance of the data you provide.
We collect and process your data:
- To contact you about commercial offers, newsletters and promotional campaigns that may be of interest to you, only if you have signed up for them;
- To be able to assess your suitability, if you have responded to a vacancy;
- To be able to record an order in a contract and to maintain and fulfil this contract;
- To enter into and maintain an employee or staff relationship and to keep the relevant records for this;
- For proper business operations including: management information, providing internal controls, corporate security and conducting audits and accountancy.
What personal data do we process?
We collect – among others – the following (documents containing) personal data:
- Name and address, e-mail address and other contact details;
- Visual material;
- Nationality, BSN number, identity document;
- Cookies to make this website work properly.
In case of a job application or salary, absence or personnel administration, we process:
- Curriculum vitae, information on education, marital status, bank account number, number of leased cars, internships and work experience, references and testimonials, passport photo and video (introduction), birth data, age, gender, work permit.
We only store “special personal data” if this is necessary to fulfil our legal obligations, insofar as consent has been given or if it is otherwise permitted by or under the law. These data include data on health, membership, trade union membership, criminal data and/or personal data on unlawful or annoying behaviour.
Cookies, or similar technologies, that we use
We use functional, analytical and social (for integrating social media on our site) cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. We use cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. How long do we keep your data?
We do not retain personal data any longer than is necessary for the intended purpose for which the data is processed. The retention period is usually based on the laws and regulations and we have determined it for each processing operation. After the expiry of the retention period, the personal data shall be removed from the relevant database and made unreadable or destroyed.
To whom do we disclose your data?Â
We may disclose your personal data to clients, subcontractors (e.g. data processors) who provide services or carry out assignments on behalf of the organisation, suppliers, government agencies and other business relations. And in all other cases in which we may be obliged to do so, for example, by a court order or a court judgment.
The provision of personal data takes place on the basis of a legitimate interest, legal obligation and/or for the execution of an agreement.
Our website may contain references and/or hyperlinks to websites of third parties. If you provide data on one of these websites, the privacy statement of that party will apply. We are not liable in any way for the way in which this third party deals with your privacy.
How do we secure your personal data?
We have taken appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal data against unlawful use, both physical and digital. These include firewalls, data encryption and access restrictions to data and servers.
If an organisation processes data of clients or customers on our behalf, we will enter into a processing agreement with them, in which we agree that the personal data of this organisation will also be optimally secured. Our employees and processors are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.
What are your rights?
If you wish to inspect your total personal data processing and/or correct or delete data that you cannot amend yourself, please contact us in writing at secretariaat@cugla.nl or in writing at Cugla BV, Rudonk 11, 4824 AJ Breda.
If you wish to exercise the right to have your personal data transferred to you or another organisation of your choice (data portability), please also contact us at secretariaat@cugla.nl . You can only exercise this right if the data is processed on the basis of consent or agreement.
A decision on a request to remove and/or destroy personal data will be made within 4 weeks. If such a request is granted, deletion and/or destruction shall take place within 1 month after confirmation.
If you have a complaint about the implementation of our privacy policy, please contact us. If, in spite of this, we are unable to reach a solution together, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority in accordance with the privacy legislation.
Changes
We can improve and/or adapt this privacy statement in response to new insights or developments. The most up-to-date privacy statement can be viewed on this website at all times. The current version was prepared in April 2018.
