Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how Cugla BV handles personal data. If you opt to provide us with data on a voluntary basis, we will treat it with due care and secure it in accordance with the regulations of the General Data Protection Regulation. 

Personal data is all data relating to an identified, identifiable or living person.

Processing means any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal information, such as collection, recording, storage, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, erasure or destruction.

Why do we process personal data?

We collect your data from the moment you provide it to our organisation. We only process the personal data for the purpose for which you provided it; part of this data is required in order to be able to use our services. You bear personal responsibility for the accuracy and relevance of the data you provide.

We collect and process your personal information;

  1. in order to be able to contact you for commercial offers, newsletters and promotional offers that may be of interest to you, only if you have registered for them.
  2. in order to be able to assess your suitability, if you have responded to a job vacancy.
  3. to be able to include an assignment in an agreement and to maintain and fulfil this agreement.
  4. to start and maintain an employee or personnel relationship and to keep the relevant records for this purpose.
  5. for proper business operations including: management information, the performance of internal checks, operational safety and to carry out internal and external audits.

What personal data do we process?

  • Among other things, we collect the following (documents containing) personal data:
  • Name/address details, email address and other contact details
  • Visual material
  • Nationality, citizen service number (CSN), identity card
  • Cookies, to make this website work properly.

In the case of a job application, or salary-, absenteeism- or personnel administration, we process the following:

  • Curriculum vitae, information regarding education, marital status, bank account number, lease car registration, traineeships and professional experience, references and testimonies, passport photo and video (introduction), birth details, age, gender, work permit.

We only record 'particular personal data' if this is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, insofar as permission has been given to do so, or if this is otherwise permitted by or pursuant to the law. These data include data concerning health, membership, trade union, personal data relating to criminal proceedings and/or unlawful or disruptive behaviour.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

We use functional, analytical and social (for the integration of social media on our sites) cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser on your computer, tablet or smartphone on your first visit to this website. We use cookies with a purely technical function. These ensure that the website works properly and that your preferred settings, for example, are remembered. You can unsubscribe from cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. How long do we retain your personal information?

We do not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the intended purpose for which the data is processed. The retention period is usually based on legislation and regulations, and we have established the appropriate period for each processing operation. On expiry of the retention period, the personal data will be removed from the relevant database and obliterated or destroyed.

To whom do we provide your personal information?

We may disclose your personal information to principals, subcontractors (e.g. data processors) who perform services or assignments on behalf of the organisation, suppliers, government agencies and other business contacts. And in all other cases where we may be obliged to do so, for example by a court order or a court ruling.

The provision of personal data takes place on the basis of a legitimate interest, legal obligation and/or in execution of a contract.

Our website may contain references and/or hyperlinks to other parties’ websites. If you provide information on one of these websites, then the privacy policy of the party in question is applicable. We bear no liability whatsoever for the way in which this third party treats your privacy.

How do we protect your personal information?

We have taken appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal data against unlawful use, both physical and digital. These include firewalls, data encryption, and data and server access restrictions.

If an organisation processes information of principals or clients/customers on our behalf, we will conclude a processing agreement with said organisation in which is agreed that the personal information will also be optimally secured. Our employees and processing organisations are obliged to ensure that the confidentiality of your data is respected.

What are your rights?

If you wish to exercise the right to have your personal information transferred to you or to another organisation of your choice (data portability), you can also contact us at You can only exercise this right if the data is processed on the basis of consent or agreement.

A decision on a request to remove and/or destroy personal data will be taken within 4 weeks. If such a request is granted, removal and/or destruction will take place within 1 month after confirmation.

If you have a complaint about the implementation of our privacy policy, you are welcome to contact us. Should we fail to reach a solution to the matter then, pursuant to privacy legislation, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.


We may improve and/or amend this privacy policy in response to new insights or developments. The most recent privacy policy can be viewed at any time on this website. The current version was drawn up in April 2018.
